§ 4-30. Inspections.

  • (a)

    An applicant or licensee shall permit town, county, state and federal representatives, including without limitation any volunteer fire department representative, to inspect the premises of a sexually oriented business for the purpose of ensuring compliance with this chapter and state and federal law, at any time while the application is pending or the license is issued and valid.

    (b)

    A person who owns or operates a sexually oriented business or any agent, representative or employee commits an offense if such person refuses to permit an inspection as required in this chapter, or if such persons hinders, obstructs or fails to cooperate in such inspection.

    (c)

    The provisions of this section do not apply to areas of an adult motel that are currently being rented by a customer for use as a permanent habitation.
