§ 28-1. Authority.

Pursuant to V.T.C.A., Local Government Code § 217.042, the town declares that it will exercise its authority to define and prohibit nuisances within the town limits and within its extraterritorial jurisdiction, which includes the area up to five thousand (5,000) feet from the town limits and further adopts regulations necessary to prevent and summarily abate and remove nuisances.
