§ 26-85. Anchoring of permanent site-installed homes.

(a)

Anchoring systems shall be inspected and plans sealed by an engineer registered in this state, or the plans shall clearly demonstrate that the submitted system meets or exceeds all applicable standards prior to connecting any manufactured home to water, sewer or gas service in accordance with the building codes of the town.

(b)

The manufactured home shall be anchored in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions and anchored, as well as supported and blocked, in accordance with those standards for manufactured housing found in the Texas Manufactured Housing Standards Act, V.T.C.A., Occupations Code § 1201.001 et seq., as amended, and rules promulgated thereunder.
